Meeting Minutes

8/4/99

Present: Barnewall, Dorgan, Heslin, Moss, Oberg, Rohl, Schramm, Thompson, Winslow

President Schramm called the meeting to order at 2007.

Minutes: The last minutes were e-mailed by Thompson, and were accepted as mailed.

Treasurer: Treasury balance was reported at $390 +/-, offset by one bill for over $500 pertaining to 55144. However, numerous checks were received during the meeting, so weíre not too bad off.

Membership: 14 Sr., 2 Jr., 4 openings. Thompson reported conversations with two people who may check us out more closely later on.

Rules & Publicity: No change from prior status, per Winslow

Hangar & Grounds: Still standing. Volunteers to succeed Thompson as H&G chair are needed.

Log Books: Up to date, per Barnewall & Schramm.

Aircraft 55144: The DME was reported inoperative, and Thompson noted that the rudder trim may need some attention. Also, LORAN waypoints for Johnstown/Fulton County appear unreliable. The next 1`00 hr. is scheduled for 8/18 from 1600-2400.

Aircraft 9075R: No report from maintenance chair. The landing light was reported out by Heslin, and the turn coordinator was still dead. The wet compass light was reported out. After the meeting, Rohl looked into the lights issue, with results as reported separately by Dorgan in a Thursday morning e-mail.

Old Business: An interior renovation quote is still in progress of preparation.

New Business: None The meeting was adjourned at 2045.
