Meeting Minutes

Present: Barnewall, Heslin, Dorgan, Rohl, Schramm, Thompson

Guest: John Winslow

Tim Schramm called the meeting to order at 2010.

Minutes of the prior meeting were waived.

Treasurer: Bills received to date are covered, the e-mail notification of balances due has been effective in getting members to pay up.

Membership: 13 senior, 1 junior, 6 openings. John Winslow, having applied and been recommended by the Board, was voted in as a junior member. New count: 13 senior, 2 junior, 5 openings.

Rules & Publicity: No report. John Winslow volunteered to chair this function. Joe Gomez is working on signs for the hangar. A possible letter to area CFI's was discussed as a way to publicize the Club. Several possible other avenues to gain publicity for the Club were discussed.

Hangar & Grounds: Tom Thompson reported that the hangar door guides will be installed shortly. He reminded members to plug in the aircraft heaters as cold weather descends on us. There was discussion of the reservation system and its shortcomings.

Logbooks: Barnewall reported logbooks up to date.

Aircraft: 75 Romeo Heslin reported that the elevator trim wheel tends to "creep", making trim-out difficult. Thompson reported that no mineral oil remains in the hangar, and he was forced to use a quart of 15w50 Aeroshell in the plane last weekend.

Aircraft: 55144 The shimmy damper has been overhauled, and the door handle on the pax side fixed.
