Meeting Minutes

Present: Barnewall, Dorgan, Kiraly, Moss, Murray, Rohl, Schramm, Taber, Thompson

Pres. Murray called the meeting to order at 2009. Minutes: Sent e-mail, waived reading. Treasurer: About $7,033 in checking, and about $2,045 in flying receivables. Richmor submitted a bill for $14,000 for the landing gear job on 75R. No one has taken up the "7% offer". Members are reminded that a minus sign in front of a statement balance is a credit balance (due to the member). Thompson noted that he had visited a GA FBO in Colorado Springs on a recent trip, and that block time ($300 minimum purchase) on a 182RG was priced (at flying club rates) at $114/hr, and 172 time was priced at $73/hr on the same terms. Membership: No report. Rules & Publicity: No report Flight Standards: No report Hangar & Grounds: Taber has e-mailed updates as needed. The tug is now working. Log Books: Up to date. Aircraft9075R: The aircraft has burned out 2 inverters. There seems to be an intermittent problem in one of the sealed light units. The DME unit display is again flashing irregularly. Aircraft55144: The oil is being changed on 8/1, along with a repair to the pilot side door latch, and replacing the ELT batteries. Comm #2 is reported intermittent after it warms up (15-20 min. of flight). Oberg reported that the ADF needle is "sticking". Old Business: The summer social event/BBQ will be at Thompson's house on 8/11 from 4PM unitil.......... New Business: None. The meeting was adjourned at 2058.
